On Thursday, July 6th, Storm visited our friends at the Bridgeport YMCA to play Isles Street Hockey!
To kick off the holiday weekend, on Friday, June 30th, the Bridgeport Islanders visited the Boys & Girls Club of Lower Nauguatuck Valley to learn the art of Isles Street Hockey.
On Sunday, June 25th, Storm joined Sparky and the rest of the Isles staff to walk in the New York City Pride Parade.
The Bridgeport Islanders front office members joined Yale New Haven Hospital to help organize and prepare their Toy Closet, which provides Yale New Haven Children's Hospital patients with a toy once they are discharged, 365 days a year.
On Sunday, June 11th, Storm joined in on a Bridgeport tradition: Black Rock Day. Black Rock Day is a community-wide party that celebrates the culture and history of the Bridgeport neighborhood. Storm had a blast making new friends and joining others to carry on this historic tradition.
The Bridgeport Islanders support members of the LGBTQ+ community and welcome everyone to enjoy the sport of hockey.
We joined Triangle Community Center for Pride in the Park to share that hockey is for everyone.
To celebrate National Donut Day on Friday, June 2nd, we visited our friends at Homes for the Brave and dropped off fresh donuts.
Bridgeport Islanders Street Hockey returned this summer with the first visit to Classical Magnet Academy.
Storm loved visiting the Wishing Place and meeting local wish kids at the Make-A-Wish Connecticut Walk For Wishes!
To celebrate Kristen becoming our All-Star Teacher of the Year presented by CT Lottery, Storm visited Kristen and her students at the Tracey Magnet School in Norwalk!
During Teacher Appreciation Week, we visited our neighbors at Theodore Roosevelt School to say thank you and deliver fresh coffee!
