Alan Fuehring | Play-by-Play

Alan Fuehring has served as the radio and AHLTV play-by-play "Voice of the Bridgeport Islanders" since 2016. In addition to his role with Bridgeport, he also fills in as a play-by-play announcer and host for the New York Islanders on MSG Networks, working alongside four-time Stanley Cup Champion Butch Goring and former Islander Thomas Hickey.

A native of Morton, Illinois, Fuehring studied sports communication at Bradley University, where he also served as an announcer for the baseball, softball, volleyball, men's soccer and women's basketball programs. He has called hockey on TV and radio for the Peoria Rivermen (AHL and SPHL), Greenville Swamp Rabbits (ECHL), and Chicago Blackhawks (NHL).
